-25% Warning For Breaking
-50% Warning For Breaking
-100% Warning For Breaking
This game does NOT allow sex talk.
Proboards’ Terms of Service states that you must be 13 or older to join. If we find you breaking this rule, you will be banned without notice.
You may swear in character, the words are no longer censored.
You may not talk racist, sexist, insult religions or anything else to the players
Only insult characters (also known as charas) in the game, not in OOC (out of character) talk
Unless you post absent if you leave do not log on and make a post for over a long period of time you could risk being deleted.
Do not spam, Hawaiian Freedom does not tolerate it. If you do you will be banned forever.
Claiming Mares and Territories
Only stallions can claim mares/terras (short for Territory)
You can not force a mare into your herd, it the player's choice whether she goes with you or not.
You can claim as many mares as you want as long as you have time for them all.
You can not claim a mare played by yourself.
You may claim an un-owned terra by posting (in character//ooc) that you have claimed it, if it is already owned you must challenge the current leader (fight) for it.
To challenge for a land, your stallion MUST have an active mare claimed that supports his challenge. To claim an inactive land, you do not need a mare, just an IC post.
If you claim, get a terra from inactivity, or from a challenge, YOU MUST POST IT IN HERD UPDATES. This makes it easier for the mods so they don't have to go read through threads. AKA, it won't get done if you don't post it in the herd updates board (found as a sub-board in the "other" board)
Fighting
You have SEVEN DAYS to reply, after that you are disqualified and your terra goes to your opponent
You may not power play in any sort of fight (ex: Bob kicked Lou and Lou died)
Staff decides winner. They can make a poll or just choose who they think was best (look at fighting rules at Battle Beach for more info)
Only stallions can challenge for terras and mares, mares can only challenge for higher ranks (Queen, lead, etc.)
TO CHALLENGE FOR A TERRA YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 ACTIVE MARE.
There is no refusing challenges, to refuse is to back down, and in turn loose your terra
If a stallion fights for a mare or herd the mare/herd MUST go with him and stay for at least a week before leaving...After a week you’re free to do as you wish
You set terms when you challenge, the terms are not valid till both the challenger and the one being challenged agree on them
When the queen position is challenged for the king must approve of it before the fight can continue. Since the King has a right to choose his queen, he has a right to say who can challenge, and who can not. (Though, be fair here)
FOR NORMAL HERDS- After a challenge is completed(that means after you have battled for a terra), the winner receives a one week recovery period.
FOR ROYALS ONLY - After a challenge is completed the character with the position fought for receives a four week recovery period. After the four weeks the position is open for challenges again.
Foals
You may only Foal in Spring or Autumn ( seasons change every Monday)
Foals age like this
1 week= 1year
at age three your foal is an adult and it starts to age
1 month= 1 year
After three weeks your foal is 3, meaning it can go off on its own.
If you no longer want to play the foal you can
1. Put it up for adoption at the Play Me! board under Adoptables
2. Ask someone to kill it
3. say it died or ran away
When you foal post both the mother's and father's stats (statistics)
That means to post
Name
Breed
Gender
Height
Color
Deformity
Code:
Mods will decide what the foal stats are. They may also decide whether you have twins or if your foal has a deformation.
Please don't not request foal stats! We really don't care if you want twins, or a black horse, or a certain height etc. We tend to make exceptions on plots. If you really feel you must have a certain foal stat, PM a Mod, and "present your case." We will consider it. Any other requests will lead to a: stillborn foal, opposite of what you've requested and/or a deformity.
Breeding
No graphic or long breeding- it is against Proboards Terms of Service
You may breed in Summer or Winter
Gone/Leaving - Terras
If you own a terra, and you are planning on going on vacation, or know you will be away for a little while it is required that you not only post an away message in the Gone/Leaving board, but in your terra as well. If you do not do this, and you loose your terra because you were away, it isn’t our fault. If you own a herd, you should be responsible enough to post in both places.
Also, you can not hold a terra if you are away for more than two weeks, even if you post that you are away. (though, over the summer we will be a bit more lenient about this rule.)
Other
If a royal king gives you the death penalty. You die. Just die it doesn't even need to be rped out. But there has to be a reason for you to get it. It was discussed over staff and everyone agreed to it.
Questions? PM a staff memeber, we'll be glad to help.
And the most important rule of all...Have Fun!
